I just wanted to clarify what I needed to do with my work permit.

My work permit expires at the end of November, so I want to send my PR app soon. Don't want to get caught in the less than 4 moths valid work permit rule.

You won't be caught by the "less than 4 moths valid work permit rule" because you're eligible to apply only when your valid work permit is due to expire in 4 months or less (not before). But still sending PR app. asap is a good idea because you wont be able to submit your BOWP application once your current WP expire.

Hi buddy. I'm not sure if you entirely understand what to do and how it works. So again:
Apply for your PR. After applying, about 40+- days later you will receive AOR. As you said, your PGWP is valid till the end of November. It means, you will be eligible for BOWP not sooner than at the end of July (when your current WP validity will be less than 4 months. Hope you understand now. The point is, that you can't apply for BOWP if your current WP is still valid more than 4 months.

Once you obtained enough experience, it would be advisable to apply as soon as possible. We don't know what changes are coming to CEC, and on top of that you are competing with other applicants. There are maximum caps for certain NOC code, and also for the total caps.

You must calculate your full time (30 hours per week) only! No overtime!!!. In order to become eligible for CEC you need to finish both 12 months of full time work and also 1560 hours!!! if you submit your PR application now, you'll be refused!. "Ask your employer for LMO" now in order to finish your 12 months work.

Hi. I understand you want to apply for PR.
If so, you need 52 weeks of full time work. Full time week means minimum 30 hours (disregard the hours in those weeks you worked more than that).
1 calculate full time weeks first.
2 calculate number of hours in your "no full time weeks" and divide those hours by 30. The result will be number of weeks made from your "no full time weeks".
3 add the calculated number of "no full time weeks" to your real full time weeks and you'll get the final number of full time weeks. This way you will see, if you fulfill the requirements or not.

I would say consider those weeks with 72 hours for 2 full weeks. Those with 56 hours consider as 1 full week and 26 hours. Now calculate all hours of your incomplete weeks (+-26 hours each) and divide by 30. The result will be full weeks made of all incomplete weeks. This is how I would do it.

That is 6 weeks of full time work. No more, no less.

Sorry this is bi-weekly hours..... which mean Week 1 = 81 hours ( is 2 weeks 81 hours).

Apologise as I should have mentioned that.

You have 8 full weeks. Now you calculate hours of your incomplete 4 weeks: 58h + 56h = 114h and divide by 30; (114h : 30h =3.8 weeks)
Now you can see you have 8 weeks +3.8 weeks =11.8 weeks.
