what to include in Citizen application to avoid RQ?

All,

what documents should we include in citizen application to avoid RQ? I noticed they are not asking for passport pages or any meangful data - can poeple who got their application processed face advise on what they included in the application? what triggers a QR?

My wife is going to apply now but she does not work - and did not join any university as she was raisng our kids - what should we proactively include to avoid delaying her application?

There are differing opinions on this issue.

I'm a homemaker too but did not attach any extra documents. Im not sure if there's a sure fire way of avoiding an RQ if one has to come your way. Better to be prepared for such an eventuality after you send in the application. A pleasant surprise if you don't get it.

I've got the OHIP history and ordered for the CBSA report and entry exit report from the country that I used to live in. Also planning to keep the passport translations ready.

thanks - so did you send the OHIP and CBSA travel record? or you ordered them just in case they are required later?

also i noticed they do not ask to copy every page of the passport which they do for PR card applications - is this true or did i mis-understand their requirements? it seems they only require the first page of the passport which has the name and pother information - but no mention to copy pages which has stamps - correct? did u send copies of all pages of your passport?

You just send whatever they asked you to send. Extra document not necessarily helpful to avoid RQ if CIC decide to send. OHIP and CBSA record keep with you and if you do get RQ will help to proof of residency and I hope she will not get one. My wife was home maker like your and they gave her RQ after test. So RQ is not depend on extra document it's depend or officer if they think they need extra info to determined residency.

No I did not send additional documents. Only what was asked for.

Sent only the first (bio page) page of the passport.

I would only include things asked in the citizenship application's manual from CIC website. Nothing else.
