What to do with USA mortgage?

Hi, was wondering if it is recommended to just rent out my house in US while I live in Canada. Not sure if mortgage company will pose any questions since our physical address will be in Canada.

see your purchase/buy contract if you can rent it;
mine I can, but not airbnb
the only interest for the mortgage company is you pay on time
