What to do after arriving as PR?

I know we need to apply for SIN and care card.

My wife will be arriving from Taiwan and I believe she has to go to a Service Canada centre to apply for a SIN card but what documents are needed? her PR papers and passport are enough? Also where do we apply to care card? She also wants to just exchange her Taiwan Driver's License as well. Is there anything else we need to do after she arrives or somewhere I can get info?

she can bring her passport and COPR to Service Canada and would get SIN no. right away.

i also suggest looking up an immigrant service organization in your area. for me, these organizations have been a huge help with getting employment and even having someone to talk to about my tranisition into my area. if your wife is looking for a job, lasi world skills is a great place to start with. i can't express how amazing they are with workshops, job searching and at my local office, they will endorse resumes for companies they partner with and it always guaranteed me an interview. a referral from another immigrant service org may be necessary to get started. start with google to find a place in your area.
