I have a question about the oath ceremony. From what I can see (http://www.cic.gc.ca/citcer/search-recherche-eng.aspx), all ceremonies officially begin at either 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. My spouse received a letter saying to appear at 9 a.m., so my assumption is that the ceremony starts at 10 a.m. However, keesio (in an old post) says he was told to arrive even earlier than 9 and that the ceremony started at 9:45! This is a bit confusing if we want to tell a guest when to arrive. Anyone have any recent experience?keesio said:just to be clear regarding my time, the Oath ceremony itself took 1 hour but you need to get there early. Even though my letter said 9AM, I was told to come around 8:30AM when the letter was handed to me. I got there at 8:30 AM and they start lining you up and doing other logistical stuff. The actual ceremony didn't start until 9:45AM and ended around 10:45AM. I stuck around for a few extra minutes to take some photos and was out a bit before 11 AM. So total time spent was 2.5 hours.
