What test should I choose? General training or academic

I'm assuming general training but I want to be sure. The nearest location for me has many academic test dates available but only two for General training. The dates for general training are, one the last week of march , the second on September.

Any advice will be appreciate it.

IELTS: International English Language Testing System

IELTS has two options for the reading and writing tests: “General Training” and “Academic.” You must take the “General Training” option.
