I applied for PGWP extension. I originally got it for 2yrs, 11 months so I tried to claim 1 more month. I applied through a consultant. While my application was in processed I kept on working. CIC made its decision and sent a letter which was dated for June 15. Means till June 15 what ever I have worked is legal. My consultant received that letter after 25 June and because of some change in staff in the office they just told me yesterday means on 6th of July. As soon as I got this info I called my HR and asked them to take me off from payroll.
My concern is because of delay in getting the letter and further delayed by my consultant I have worked illegally. Kindly let me know what to do. How would it effect my chances of future immigration. I am trying to let CIC know but their call center is keep telling me that they are experiencing high volume of calls and can't answer. Please help me as I am very worried about this situation
