What should I Do? Please advise

Dear Forum members

I have sent passports and medicals to NDVO on 17th December, since then E-cas updated to medicals received .

Main Problem
My Mrs hold student Visa for UK and I hold Dependent Visa for UK ,Problem is wife is missing college classes and we got warning from college as well as from my employer.We cannot travel back as we don't have passports and hopefully we looking for visa to be stamped.

Its been about 55days (about 40 working days)

Can you please suggest ifits advisable to send mail to NDVO or apply for CAIPS Notes.

1. Did New Delhi actually request the passports or did you just send them? If they requested them, it will be about 3/4 months to get them back. You request the return and see what happens.

Once you received your PR , why you need to stay in uk. If you thinking about your stuff and house here in UK , so don't worry , once you get your Ca PR. just come to UK , and tell immigration officer that you need to settle your stuff and your wife need to attend last classless (tell them that she will be finishing remaining course online from Canada ) they will not stop you , they only stop people whom they think will illegally work or overstay , and they understand very well that as you got Ca PR , you will be heading to Ca soon .

If you can bring ticket from UK to Ca for say two week date to convence uk immigration officer that you leaving UK soon ( you can cancel them or extend them once you get into UK if you want to o your job for few month )

NDVO has asked me to submit medicals and passports ,i have done medicals on 17th december and passports sent couple of days later.Some forum members got passports stamped between 15 days to 35days.
Is it advisable to send e-mail query to NDVO or apply for capes notes or simply sit and wait.
