dear seniors

I am new in this forum and it has been my opportunity to find this forum for seeking help from you. I applied for PR in 2009 and we finished our medical request. But we have a new born during the process. To add the new born in the application, I sent an e-mail to the VO. the visa office instructed us to send an individual passport for the baby and other related documents within 60 days of the date of the new born.At this point of time ,we facing challenges .

we applied for the baby's urgent passport and the passport authority gave an tentative delivery date of the passport . which usually takes 15 days . we filed application for passport on may 22 ,2011 and the delivery date was may 30, 2011 but we are not delivered the passport till today. Deadline is knocking at the door and I must send those documents within June 27, 2011 to meet the deadline set by the VO. I am afraid ,whats going wrong with me ! and I apprehend that I may not be able to meet the deadline and I may not be delivered the passport , in that case what are the possible options for me !

more tasks are just hanged up for a baby's passport such as filling additional forms ,making a bank draft and some others .seniors please advise what should I do now ?

look forward to hearing from you soon.
regards

Don't panic. I know from experience that having a baby makes everything take five times as long. You never get out of the house until after 10 AM at the earliest. Still, taking that into consideration, you still have two weeks, 16 days, if your docs have to be sent by 26 June...I wasn't sure if you meant they had to be sent by then, or received, but whatever... Just think of "achieveable chunks" and I am sure you can get those last few things done. IF, you know that it is impossible to get the package delivered in the timeline given, send an immediate notification to your VO, explain exactly what is holding up the process and what you have done so far. Give them a date by which you expect to have the documents to them and do whatever you can to get them there by the due date if possible. All the best.

I would recommend sending an email or a letter explaining the situation to them and asking if they can give you an extension for submitting the documents, I am sure the CH is aware of the procedures of getting passport issued and will be able to consider an extension, good luck for your future life in Canada.

Don't dread, just send ure VO some notifications regarding your situation and ask them to extend sometime..so that it may help you to take other actions in future. But as you have almost 2 weeks time to bump into ure deadline so i think u will meet every criteria required anyways good luck!
