Hi guys,
I have a ridiculous situation here, and I don't know what to do any more.
I received my PPR on September 2, and I submitted my passport via VFS on September 8. I was assured by VFS that passport processing usually takes 5 days. It is September 27 today, and I still do not have my passport back. In these 20 days, others who submitted my passport after me have received their passports back, in 2-3 days at times. My passport has been stuck at the embassy since September 9. It was stamped on September 21 (which I know because my application was approved and closed then), but so far, VFS have not received the passport back.
I have tried emailing the embassy, and I have received no response. I tried going down to the VFS office, and the best they could offer was that I submit a request letter to try and have the processing of my passport expedited. I try calling the embassy, but the operator refuses to connect me to anyone so I can discuss my problem. Calling VFS nets me a standard 'it's at the embassy, and we can't help' response. The VFS tracker itself is still stuck at 'Under processing at the New Delhi Visa Office.'
Can someone suggest what I should do in this situation? I can't believe I am running into problems and delays now, in the post PPR stage...

I hope you'll sort out this really stressful situation and you'll get your passport very soon. :-[
Is there any way of having an appointment at the embassy ?
Maybe the agent who stamped your passport went on a leave and will send your passport back later. But still, it's a very strange and confusing situation. :o
I'd be so upset if I were you.
Keep us updated.
Good luck !
