What options do you have when waiting for your EE draw but your PGWP is expiring soon?

I have created my EE profile 2 weeks ago, but recently I found out that they will continue the EE draws in 6 months due to backlogs of applications. My PGWP expiring Sept 2022, so what options do I have in this type of situation? or this it a good bye message for me from IRCC?

However, recently I was told there is 18 month PGWP extension for all permit that expire this year 2022, where can I find the link so I to apply? is it out yet?

The link to apply for the extension hasn't been published yet. It's expected in June.
