What option to choose for TRV?

Hi,

My parents would like to come to explore Canada and to visit me (I'm a PR) but we are unsure what option to choose when presented with the question below on the "Apply for Temporary Visa" form during the Online Application Screen.

What's the purpose of your visit (Stay for less than 6 months)?

1. Tourism
2. Visit Family

If they choose the second one they have to do a lot more paperwork (financial statements, letters from me, etc).

Would it be misrepresentation or cause problems if they chose Tourism instead of visiting Family? They would be wanting to do both.
