  • 1. On this forum I read once you recieve the PPR you need to submit the your passports (along with dependent) to nearest VFS office
Question: What in case I have moved out of India after I applied for PR. Do I have to submit passport in india (Office nearest to my past address) ?
  • In how much time I have to land in Canada, after I get visa stamped? I read that it should be before you medical expires. could someone redirect me to the official page where this information in mentions?
  • I also read on the forum that, dependent can't land before Primary applicant. This is really problematic for me, as my wife is a primary application and landing to Canada with wife and kid without any job is going to be really tough.
For this also, if someone can redirect me to official page, or if someone has done this, I mean being dependent landed before primary applicant would you please let me know.

Thanks for the information. According to the following paragraph, if Family member arrives before Primary Applicant, the situation could be difficult.
So for me, the best thing would be to get at least some kind of job offer to support a family before I land.
The border services officer should complete the verification process but should not grant permanent resident status to the family member. If the person has a valid permanent resident visa and the border services officer is satisfied that the rest of the family intends to come to Canada, the border services officer may wish to defer the examination pursuant to section A23 in order to obtain more information or wait until the rest of the family arrives so they may be examined.
