Hi Guys,

I really need all your expert Advice... This is my current Situation:

I was on a Study Permit from 2007-2011. Then applied for a PGWP and it was issued from August 2011-August 2014.

With the job market i had some difficulty finding a job but finally found one and have approximately 16 Months of work experience in NOC 1223 by July 2014. I then applied for my CEC on July 7, 2014. Unfortunately, i still have not received an AOR but my PGWP is expiring August 24.

My plan is to apply for the BOWP without the AOR by August 20th using the paper application.. This is hoping that the AOR will come in sometime during the timeframe that it takes for Paper based applications for BOWP.

My question is, if for some odd reason if my BOWP is rejected. What is the timeframe i have to leave Canada? And what options do i have to stay in Canada and continue working?

I really really don't want to leave Canada... What do i do?? I'm so worried and i continue to have sleepless nights worrying about what will happen... I really need your help guys!!

Thanks in advance!!!

If your BOWP is rejected, then only other viable option at that point is to get your employer to apply for your LMIA. But you should get your AOR by the 21st of August (50 days), if your application is in order. Why did you wait for 6 months to apply for CEC? Anyhow, it's in the past, and wait for the AOR. Keep your paper application for BOWP ready and apply as soon as you get your AOR.

^You probably meant "apply online" once you get the AoR. If not, do a paper application on Aug 20, whichever comes first.

I really hope i do get my AOR soon... :|..... I had no choice because i didn't have enough work experience at the time and then they changed some requirements.. long story short, i had to apply only in July... Don't you think its too late to wait till August 21st? Since my PGWP is expiring on August 24th?

i was thinking of applying using the paper based application by August 18/19 to ensure that it gets to the processing office on or before August 24th... With or without the AOR... What do you guys suggest?

Any advice is appreciated...

If you do not get your AOR by the 18th, send your paper application without an AOR. If you do get it in the week of the 18th, apply online with the AOR and withdraw your paper application.

You will need to call the CIC call center to withdraw your paper application.

HI Maniac2403,

Thank you so much! Do you know if there are any different documentations that i need for a paper based and online application??

Thank you!!!
