What next after adding a dependant to CEC application?

I completed my medicals and was waiting for my PPR. In the interim got married and informed CIC and they put my application on hold. I sent the documents of my spouse to CIC couple of weeks back.

Anyone has any idea what is next? Will I be receiving medicals for my spouse and how long does it take? Any inputs are appreciated.

It will take a while, spouse's background/criminality/security checks do take time.
