Hey Everyone,
I ordered GCMS notes prior to knowing that we would be approved. I thought it may be helpful to mention what was written down in 'notes'. Apparently this is what they deemed noteworthy in our application
- young couple, first marriage for both
- Sponsor is Canadian born with Romanian father, applicant is romanian
- They met in Romania while sponsor was visiting family
- Got married in Romania in March 2012
- Sponsor's father and applicant's father attended the wedding
- Couple went for honeymoon in Paris
- Enclosed pics
- Looked genuinely happy
- No concerns
Thus, what I am taking from this is they will emphasize whether or not this is a first marriage (if not, additional explanation would probably help), how we met, whether or not we 'jive' culturally, when we got married, who attended our wedding in terms of family, whether or not we went on a honeymoon, and whether or not we looked genuinely happy.
I'm not sure if this helps anyone, but for me, it gives me a bit better insight into what they were looking for! I think this reinforces how important it is to really explain any red flags that pop up in your application.
It's also nice to know that someone still considers us young!!
