Hi,
I have got my AEO application in process with HRSDC.I need to know what are the factors due to which HRSDC can reject an AEO?
Secondly if approved by HRSDC even then in some cases AEOs are rejected by CHCs (n not granted 10 points) ,so what are the circumstances under which a CHC can reject an AEO?
I need to ask this question as those 10 points are crucial for me to qualify.
thanks

have a look at this link to answer your question :

http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/forms/emp5275e.pdf

and be sure that if your AEO is genuine and not only to get the points, immigration canada will accept it and grant you the required points.

If your Job Offer with Arranged Employment Opinion (AEO) is genuine and corresponds to the requirements described in the HRSDC site, it will grant you not 10, but 15 points.

- 10 points for factor Arranged Employment

and

- 5 points for factor adaptability.

Please note that your AEO may be rejected by the immigration officer if it does not correspond to your education or/and work experience.

Good Luck!

Valentin

^^^^^ So having a job offer when applying is not a fundamental requirement?

From what i can read on the website, if you don't have a job offer you cannot apply for the federal skilled program

is that true or false?

where has turne reached right now, i applies may, 2006,

IS THERE ANY IRAQI APPLING ON MAY, 2006 AND AFTER, RECIVED VIAS. I HEARED THAT IT WILL TAKE MORE TIME FOR IRAQI PEOPLE TO GET VISA.

simply the key factors to be eligible to apply under the FSW category are :

According to the Minister's instructions, your application is eligible for processing if:

you have an offer of arranged employment, OR

you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR

you are a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the occupations listed here.

it says or not and

the second factor is to attain at least 67 points in the six selection criteria.

therefore, the answer is no it is not mandatory or fundamental to have a job offer in order to be eligible, it is just one of the options and if it is available it will award you extra 15 points.

on the contrary, immigration canada has announced that the priority will be given to iraqi citizens in respect to processing their applications for the (family class). as in the following link :

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2007/2007-11-19.asp

i assume that it might be similar in regard to the economic class(personal opinion)
