What kind of visa for 3-4 months of PhD project in canada?

Hello, I am a PhD student in France with Indian passport. I will go to Toronto (3-4 months) for my PhD project at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. I will be paid by French university only. I don't know what kind of Visa I have to apply for and what are the requirements, any suggestions ?

Sounds like you can do a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) since it's under 6 months the program. Attach lots of proof for the study though.
