I am on open work permit and got a full time job here, since I was already In Canada my job offer says nothing about LMIA, now my Question is, while filling my PR Application Can I select application, Yes under "Do you have a valid Offer letter"?

in this point number 8

Additional Points

8) Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (if needed)?
A valid job offer must be

  • full-time
  • in a skilled job listed as Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B in the 2011 National Occupational Classification
  • supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or exempt from needing one
  • for one year from the time you become a permanent resident
A job offer isn’t valid if your employer is:

  • an embassy, high commission or consulate in Canada or
  • on the list of ineligible employers.
Whether an offer is valid or not also depends on different factors, depending on your case. See a full list of criteria for valid job offers.

Thank you in Advance.

You must select "no".

Since you are on an open work permit, you can only claim you have a job offer if your employer obtains an approved LMIA.

Hi @scylla , I have an employer specific work permit in Quebec. My company is based in Montreal and the location is mentioned on my work permit. I was able to obtain this as my federal application is still under process. I was wondering if I can claim points for a valid job offer if I apply through express entry? Just thinking of withdrawing my QSW application as it is taking insanely long. Can I get these points with the work permit I have?

I don't know. Applying for EE while working on a closed work permit in Quebec is messy. Even messier if you already have a QSW application in progress. Suggest you search for threads on this topic and read through thsoe. There are a lot of them around.
