Hello Everyone!

I have a case where a child was born to a couple while they were on visit visa to Canada. The child has been rewarded with Canadian Citizenship and Passport. However, the parents belong to Pakistan and they had to return ultimately. I would like to ask experts is there a way that the parents can apply for visa on grounds of their son's citizenship. If there is any possibility, can you please shed some light on it?

We really need your help in this case.

Thank you very much.

You'll need to qualify for PR through an economic immigration stream (like Express Entry or PNP) just like anyone else based on your level of education, work experience, language capabilities and other factors.

No - there are no grounds that a parent can apply for a visa based on your son's citizenship.

Once your son is an adult and has worked for a few years in Canada, he may qualify to sponsor you for PR. However until then, you are on your own and have to qualify by yourself.
