What is the timeline after our application is approved?

Our application is being processes now, we've completed biometrics and the medical exam, I'm just curious about what to expect next. Specifically, how will my spouse know when to move to Canada? Is there a timeframe after everything is complete during which she will have to fly over, or is it flexible to some degree?

Sorry, to clarify my question: I'm not asking how long the whole application process will take from start to finish. What I'm asking is when they tell my spouse (who is living in Korea now) that she's approved, will she have a certain amount of time before she has to show up in Canada? For example, will she have 30 days to book a flight or something?

You don't get the confirmation until the end of the process. The last step is that IRCC requests your wife's passport and will issue her a confirmation of permanent residence form. She then has a year from when it was issued to land in Canada. The timeline varies per person so it's hard to say how long it will take, but if you have a browse through the monthly threads you should get an idea of other people's timelines.

Incorrect. She will have one year to land from the time that her medical was completed, not from when COPR was issued.

The COPR will expire a year from the date of the medical or when the passport expires, whichever is first.
