What is the process/chances of in person interviews now a days?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what are the chances Canada Embassy asking for in person interview now a days? And at what stage the interview is normally asked? Before/After the medical? Before Passport request? Is there any chance that the interview be asked after passports are requested?

exp. in case no decision has been made in the case?

Any help or past exp is greatly appreciated..
