Hi , I'm new in this group. I wanted to know what is the minimum income requirements for 2016
to sponsor my mom? I am alone , no family , im from quebec ,so I guess it will be for two persons, please do let me know .

If you want to sponsor your mother in 2017, then you need to meet the minimum income requirement in your 2013, 2014 and 2015 Canadian tax returns (unless you live in Quebec, in which case you will only need to meed the income requirements for 2015).

The income requirements for 2015 aren't available yet. Check again at the end of the year.

Yes - you will need to meet the income requirement for two people provided your mother is not married.

Hi there , I have a job offer , I wil take this offer if I don't meet the inome requirements , so that I can earn more to be eligible for this sponsorship , some where i saw its 39000$ for two persons , I'm confused ,

I think the calculation for 2016 is 30,800 for family size of 2 + 16,689 for sponsoring 1 person over 18 = 47,489 total. Though the chart is a bit confusing so not entirely sure.
