What is SOP ?

Hello frienz
I have got my visa refused. Dont know why.
Profile is.
10th. 66%
12th. 69%
B.sc in multimedia and animation 72 %.
I have choose Mohawk College and course was graphic design production.
Integrated with animation.GIC = $10100First semester feea paid. Ielts overall 6.5No band below 6.


Now i am planning to apply again in general category.
How much funds should i need to show. and what is SOP. Anybody plz give me an idea how to write it
Any body plz help me. And what are the other documenta which i need to satisfy the visa officer.

ur course UG or PG..u should go for PG courses as u already have a bachelors degree. what is the reason for rejection? u should make sure that u have addressed the reason for rejection before ur reapply. SOP is a statement of purpose its a letter u write explaining everything ,like why u selected this course and how it is going to help u in ur home country. U can address the reason for rejection in SOP too and tell them which supporting docs u have attached to address reason for rejection. U should search google to find formats of SOP and ideas for SOP.
