Hi all,

I am bit confused about different Ecas statuses, my current status is "Recieved by Visa office", I read on this forum after that it is "Pending Review" and if Review is successful than it is "In Process".

Also it is said that "Recieved by Visa office" & "Penidong Review" are same, so what this status exactly imply, does this mean during this they check the application and access the 67 points, if applicant doesn't get these points than they will gona reject the applicant otherwise it is "In Process", and "In process" they do the job verification, isn't it?

Plz anyone confirm this.

Thx!

Hi,

When application is received it will be submitted for an officer for his examination and opinion. There may be several files like yours reached daily at the visa office. The officers cannot go through every file in a day or two and it will be waiting for his one by one scrutiny. That is what shows in ECAS as "Pending Review". Once the Immigration Officer finished his review the update may be changed according to his remarks.
