Hi,
Federal Skilled Worker (Ph.D. Stream) has the requirement of having at least one year of full-time work experience or part-time equivalent
I wonder if anyone knows if the "part-time equivalent" of one year full-time work means that the part-time experience of 1950 hours have to be gained within one year. I have heard from two immigration lawyers saying that you can hold more than one part-time work but the total number of hours have to be over 37.5 hours per week in order to meet the one-year continuous work experience. That is, the part-time work experience of 1950 hours has to be gained within a one-year time frame.
Does anyone who have recently got their permanent residence meet the minimum of "one-year full-time work experience" by adding up their part-time work experience that spans over a year?
Thanks!
SpecialMary
