Hello I want to know what is implied status. My post grad work permit expires on May 19, 2015. It is written on my permit that I have to leave canada that day. My question is can I stay after that for 3 months without doing any paper work which I consider a implied status or I have to do a paper work and apply for that implied status through CIC?

No you cannot / should not stay that way.

Implied status is basically if you applied for a permit extension OF THE SAME TYPE that you were on already (e.g. if you were already on a work permit and you applied for an extension BEFORE the expiry of permit but your renewal hasn't been received YET. So you continue working until CIC passes a judgement on your application.

That is implied status.

If your current permit expires and you haven't applied for any extension then basically the only option is to apply for restoration of status with in 90 days with a special fee, among other requirements.

The only way i know you could stay for another 3 months (of course without getting a work permit) is getting a visitor trv and stay for that long.

Question regarding your third paragraph. Let's say if I don't apply for any extension or any other thing. Can I still stay in Canada for 3 months. Because my permit expires on May, 19 2015 and I am planning to leave canada permenantly on 10th of June

You would need to change your status to visitor. Once your permit is up, you will have no status in Canada so you need to address that.
