What is ECAs that everybody talk about?

Hi, probably a very stupid question but I keep seeing topics about ECAs and how people check their statuses there after submission of Express Entry application. I couldn't find what is it, or what's the link to this app. Is it something different from CIC app? Could you give me a link? I submitted my application 10 days ago.

Ecas is bascially a dashboard for your submitted application. You will get an access after a week or so.
