What is Ecas and where to find this

Hi all
I sent my completed documents to CHC London and as per DHL these were delivered today.

Now what would be the sequence from here onwards?

Shall they inform me that my application has been received and how long that s gonna take?

Another thing is the ecas status what is this and what is the link to find this

hi cucooo,
it is a online system of knowing your application status after getting yur file number from CIO-Sydney, usually it takes 45 to 60 days to get yur file number , you can check your status in the folowing ways,

go to www.cic.gc.ca

click immigration from left hand many options

click status check from right hand options

next follow the screen instructions

Problem is i am not talking about the CIO phase as i have sent my full application to London CHC and i wanna check that status.

Whatever the case you can check status of your case on this link only mentioning your first AOR.

hello seniors

i have sent my full documents to CHC on 1 july .
today is 6 th july.
when i see my E-cas it shows nothing apart from the intimation of 1 st AOR.
how long it will take for E-cas to change.
if the documents are received whether it is also updated in the E-Cas status?
or only when 2 nd AOR is sent there is a change in the status of E-cas status.
