Hi all
what is Cosigner mean?

co-signer most likely doesn't apply to your case. It's for couples that were sponsoring parents for example. There is the main sponsor (the child sponsoring his own parents), and the co-signer - the spouse of the person who is sponsoring. Now parents sponsorship is on hold and not available anymore for the moment.
If your wife is sponsoring you ( and the child), then she doesn't have a co-signer. She is the sponsor, and you are the applicant.

OK Sweden got it i have one question that we are living in korea and my wife sponsor me from here so we should send all documents to gather like IMMIGRATION FORMS AND SPONSOR FORMS right?
also i don't know where CIC will send me back my all original documents after getting PR in korea or in Canada

thanks

Yes, you have to gather everything - sponsor documents and forms + applicants documents and forms + proofs of relationship, as indicated in the guideline. Make sure that your application is complete, it's the best way to get a fast process.
Most likely CIC will not return the documents. Some offices do, but it's not very common. So make sure that you make copies of things that you don't want to loose, and send the copies to CIC. Only a few things need to be originals ( the police certificates for example, I don't remember the rest) but for proofs for example, you can send a copy.
If you are doing translation ( for example, your rent contract in Korea, will be translated into english if it's in Korean) then it needs to be an original, certified translation.

but for the Pakistani National we have to submit all original documents.

Then I am not sure. But if you are applying through South Korea, your file will be sent to Manila who handles South Korean applications, you should be following the regional guideline for that visa office. At least that's my understanding!

yes you are right Manila office now doing south Korea case but i am not sure about CIC either they will send my original documents to Manila or Pakistan.
if any one know that pls update?

You can ask for Manila in your application, but if CIC thinks that you have more links to Pakistan then they will re-direct it to Pakistan instead, and I don't think there is a way to know it in advance.

They will send documents to VO which treated your case and where you live, why on earth they will send to Pakistan if you live in Korea :S. It wouldn't make any sense. You are mixing with getting document (like police clearance etc ) with getting back documents after you get your visa.

As Sweden said If you are applying through Korea (manila VO) you have to follow their country specific guide not Pakistan but you most probably will have to provide some documents from Pakistan, Birth certificate, police clearance (if you live there in last 10 years) etc..

I agree with Pardesifr about following the guideline for Manila, but make sure that you send all relevant documents according to them.

However - CIC can still decide to send the application to Pakistan, I have seen cases in the forum where CIC deemed that it was more relevant for the country of nationality to process the application rather than the country of residence. So it could still happen. However, if you are established in Korea (for a while etc), then hopefully Manila will process your file ( and they have a much shorter timeline, so it would be best for you for sure).
GOod luck,
Sweden

Thanks for your reply and yes you are right but i will file my application here because i it will be an year when i will submit my case in july
