What is accepted as a proof of funds?

Hi,

Will be submitting a request for extending my visitor status (visa exempt country), and I see that they ask for proof of funds.

My foreign bank gives me only online statements, I wonder if printing one like this will be good enough as a proof of funds (I am going to use savings to support myself).

Thanks!

Also, some of my savings are currently in an offshore account - not in Canada and not in my country of citizenship. I see here that this is a problem when applying to a student visa.
But maybe for merely a visitor status extension the procedure is more flexible?

my question is similar, the online statement of my uncle who is inviting us, doesnt show his name on it, would that still be sufficiant?
