What is a valid Job Offer?

I have all my educational background assessed by WES, IELTS ok, Proof of work experience and now I've received an offer from a start up in toronto to make part of the team (they have never hired a foreign before).

What really means a Job offer? Does the company have to issue any kind of document to be sent with my application? Do they have to register for any immigration program? I'm kind lost at this point of job offer.

If you're applying for PR through Express Entry then they will need to provide you with a written Job Offer.

Just remember, if they haven't obtained an LMIA for that role then you won't receive an additional 600 points.
