What is a doc request?

I am curious to know what is a Doc request???

I see that on some people on this forum who have "Doc Request: waived!". What does that mean?

doc request means if the vo need additional documents then they will let u know.............

it all depends on which visa office and if u have a completed application and if the visa officer believe u marriage is real.........everything should go faster ..........but like i said it all depends
