What happens next?

Hi everyone,

Quick question, my Dad has been approved to sponsor me by Canada, the undertaking app with Quebec has been approved and I've got my CSQ (just today actually)... What comes next?

Is it now the final stage of passport request? When is that likely to be requested?

On my app I put my UK address as residential, but I put my Dads as mailing. Where am I likely to recieve the passport request (if not by email)?

I am not sure if it is different if you go through Quebec... but our application was processed at the London office and my spouse (the person being sponsored) received the passport request by email.

Next is the longer wait of the visa office processing it.Your saying your father just got approved to sponsor you,so now its up to th visa office to approve you.

*sigh* great... does anyone know how long this 'long wait' will be? Im so sick of waiting!

Your dad is sponsoring you as his dependant i assume..London max 5 months if everything is straight forward.

5 months? Damn i wasnt expecting such a long wait. If it is 5 more months this whole process will have taken 13 months.

It could be sooner than 5 months but 5 months is really good.Before i looked i thought maybe 8 or 9 so 5 is good .
