What happens if u apply for express entry & enter Canada for graduate studies before being invited?

It takes time to process your express entry application, in some cases, it might take a year to be chosen from the pool. what happens if you apply for express entry while having an offer from a Canadian university & you come on a student visa? do they drop your application from the system? or do they still process it given that you applied months before entering Canada for graduate studies?

Your EE application will still be processed. Coming to Canada on a study permit won't change anything.
