What happens if I meet the 730 requirement in Canada whilst my PR card renewal(H&C) is in progress?

Is there a way to cancel my application under H&C and just apply the regular way to renew my PR card?

I am currently residing in Canada with an expired PR card and had not met the 730 days requirement and I applied for a renewal under H&C with supporting documents for my case but I heard it will take a very long time.

You can't really do that unless you withdraw the H&C application extremely soon after you originally submitted it. By applying under H&C, you're essentially locking yourself into this path.

Also appears that you will have to wait 2 years to be compliant so PR card renewal based on H&C should be processed before then.
