what happens after the interview?

basically
we started our application in July 2014 that's when it was in Singapore
we submitted the police certificate and medical with our application to sponsor my husband
we had our son in canada in november 2015
my husband has his interview in a few days and i am wandering IF all goes well and God and the officer is happy
how long do we wait after the interview ?

It depends. Some people are told they are approved on the same day. Some have to wait a few weeks for the decision. If its a refusal, expect to wait an additional year for appeal
