What happens after PPR?

Hi brothers and sisters,

I have a question for everyone, especially for those lucky ones that have got their PPR. Although I am still waiting for mine. Have a little faith

What will happen after getting PPR? What is the timelines like? PPR --> mail out passport --> receive a paper confirmation --> go to the border-->get the actual card? My main interest is in the time line and how long it will take away my passport? My passport is required as an identification for an exam next year.

PS. I am an inland PNP applicant in Ontario. (PNP without job offer)
