What happens after I apply and my visa gets approved?

I'm living outside Canada, and I'm about to apply for PR, once I get approved, what happens? Do i come to Canada to pick PR card or do I have to land to Canada and wait for PR card?

You have to land in Canada. Your card will be processed after you land. It typically takes 2-3 months to get the card.

Yes, this is very common. You can give a friend’s address in Canada for the PR card.

The card can then be mailed to you by your friend and you can use it to come back to Canada.
