What fees do I need to pay? Should I wait to send PR?

So first off it says right here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

That a new application package is being release on the 15th of this month. I'm wondering if I should wait until then to start putting together the paperwork? I heard inland and outland will all be the same package. We are applying outland. Already completed medical and are working on doing the FBI check now.

Next questions is the fees. I'm confused as to which fees I need to pay. Is it the $75 for sponsor, $475 and $550 listed in the link above?

you can still submit the current package up until Jan 31, 2017. the benefit of the new package is that it is supposed to be easier to fill out and will not require medical/pcc upfront. no one can tell you what is best to do. it is your decision if you want to send the old package or the new package.

the fees for PR are:

75- sponsor fee
475- applicant fee
490 - right of permanent residency fee (which does not seem to be listed on the link you provided)
total amount paid is: 1040

assuming you are the principal applicant, the 550 fee does not apply to you, and does not generally apply to spousal sponsorship. it is a fee for a "family member of the principal applicant" over a certain age. since you ARE the principal applicant, you can not be your own family member.

Thanks for the reply!:)
Thats great, I wasn't sure if it would still be vaild after the 15th. I'm in the process of filling everything out now.

Thats cheaper than I thought. Its weird the link does not show that because according to the site its the fees for outland spousal sponsorship. I'll have to search around to see where the $490 fee is listed.
