What does original documents mean for Visitor Visa

Hi,

My son join undergrad study in Septemebr at a University in Ontario , I plan to visit him and together visit tourist place and therefore applying for Visitor Visa.

I am working in India and have leave letter, employment letter and salary certificate from my employer. These are all on company letter head and stamped.

However all of these are in soft copy. I am making paper based application at VFS delhi, and I plan to take printout of these documents and submit them.

The website says "original leave letter". I am confused. Please guide if I can submit colored printouts of sift documents.

This will not work. Ask your HR department to issue these on company stationery, signed and stamped
