What does Null mean

This may be a random question, but what does null mean on ECAS.

My ECAS says: We received null (Name)'s application etc...

In the world of programming, "null" usually refers to "no value". Is the "null" before the correct name or is there just "null" with no name? If it is the latter, it sounds like they didn't enter the name correctly or forgot to enter it at all in the system. I would call up to get this straightened out.

probably a mistake from the program, but I don't think it has any bearings on your application.

It might be because of incorrect / absent "Surname" in your application form.

Hello,

I just saw my E-cas and I am also getting the same “NULL” message when I am trying to login. Please I need some guidance as I saw your post and you also had the “NULL” message showing in the past.

I just need to know what steps I can take to solve this situation. I tried to contact my MP and got a waiting date and said to wait till April. Applied for GCM notes but no luck in that too as all it shows is application in progress.

Please help me in solving this problem. Thank you very much.

I think if some one doesn't have a surname in passport, then it shows null for the Surname/Family Name.

But I do have a surname in my passport, earlier days it was showing normal

Application went on process on xxx date
Interview schedule on xxxx date
Medical received on xxx date


NOW IT IS SHOWING LIKE THIS


null Application Received for null xxxx on xxxx date.
null Application went on process on null xxx date
null Interview schedule on null xxxx date
Medical received on xxx date

This is so frustrating and confusing as if nothing is been received and nothing is getting done. Please advice.
