What does NDVO do after receiving the Passport?

Hi everyone,

I received the passport request letter, which asked me to submit my passport at the VFS office. Who will send it to New Delhi Visa Office.

I'm just curious, what happens at NDVO. Do they send it to Canada for further processing? Anyone's got info on this ?
