I have been calling to Immigration twice? about what does full time mean?

The first answer was IF In Nova Scotia is 40 hour , 35 hour , You have to work that time.

The last week the second answer was it mean, 37.5 hour per week.

Please someone, who really know that ,could help me?

Thanks

If you're planning to apply in the future for option 2 which is the 3,900 hours w/in 22 months of working w/ 390hrs of overtime call the labour department in NS. Its better to be prepared.

You can contact:
Nova Scotia Environment and Labour,
5151 Terminal Road, P.O. Box 697,
Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 2T8.

Phone: (902) 424 5300.
Fax: (902) 424 0503.

Thanks for your help.
But I have more about my experience.
I called Labour Standar in Nova Scotia, the said there is not definition for full-time, or there is no a rule for it.
Why Inmigration do it so complicated?
And they have his own definition about full time? And I knew with the time it is changing and changing....

Thanks

How many hours per week should you be working as per your contract? If your contract says 40 hours per week, then that is your full time hours and beyond 40 hours should be paid overtime rate.

Then you must have a new work contract specifying the hours. In BC there are no "clear cut" full time work hours indicated in the labor code.

This is not a government site but may help:

This is the government site:

Villagegua-

If your employer want to cut the time work. He must elaborate a new contract and you need to be agree with it.
But first you will ask to the Live in Caregiver Program and Immigration if you with 30 hours per week working you are yet eligible for apply for the PR.
