If you applied in person then you can collect it, if your consultant did only they will get it. Do you have the VFS receipt with you? If yes you "might" collect it yourself.

I have applied through an agent. I'm not having the original receipt but i'm having a scanned copy of VFS receipt. Can i take a print out and use it for collecting my passport?

No, they will need the original receipt as they will tear and keep the lower end of that receipt.
