what does "file requested from registry" means in GCMS notes

i got GCMS notes yesterday medical done waiting for my ppr.... wants to know whats the meaning of "file requested from registry" if anyone knows... plz advise

An Officer/clerk requested the physical file from the registry, i.e. file storage area.
