What do you think of my work experience letter NOC 2281

Hello eveyrone,

I got my AOR this month, but I am stressing a bit because of my work experience letter NOC 2281, altough personaly I can see some relevance I don't know if the VO will, network technicians have a quite vast activities, could you please compare my letter with CIC guidelines and give your opinions :

My letter :

- Direct manager of a system and networks team member.
- Deploying network equipment and physical / virtual servers, expanding, configuring, and maintaining throughout the life-cycle.
- Troubleshooting network and system incidents for internal and / or external users (when it says external it is very broad as it could be a website user).
- Monitoring of network equipment, servers and UPS through monitoring tools.
- Backup and restore application data and SQL databases.
- Automation of tasks through the use of scripts on UNIX and Windows.
- Keeping up to date network equipment firmware, application framework and server operating systems.
- Providing technical services to external customers of the company (also very broad as it can be any of the required tasks).
- Coordination between the different service providers for the completion of connection or system projects.
- Web servers and name servers administration.
- Routers, switches and UTM firewall administration.
- Securing the platform by conducting penetration tests, restricting user access and client computers.
- Control of incoming and outgoing traffic of the platform.
- Writing the platform architecture documentation.

CIC requirement :

- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications
- Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Web-server hardware and software
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
- Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
- Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and installed software
- Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks
- May supervise other workers in this group.

Thanks a lot, me to bachelor degree and two years diploma both in computer science, if I may know how much time did it take you to find a job ?

My application still in progress, aor 12 june. I have bachelor degree and 2 years computing diploma as well. Don't worry we will get jobs, but we may have to start from junior positions, I am looking at support jobs initially and later will move to web development.

You could do better by taking certifications, I am thinking of it, my current job relies heavily on UNIX (FreeBSD) and to a lesser extent on windows, so taking a certification might ease up things for us.

Hello bro, I understand this post is quite old but can you please confirm if your letter was accepted? My JD is quite similar with some additions and was curious if will get through.
