What date marks the end of student visa if moved to work permit before it expires?

My student visa was expiring on Aug 31, 2018. However, on July 04, 2018, I got a work permit. My question is:
What should I fill in the To column of my International student row of Physical presence calculator? Is it:
1. July 03
2. July 04
3. Aug 31

IMO, in this case, I would enter July 3rd as the expiry since you were no longer a student from July 4th.
