What CIC consider application if submitted after more than a year of marriage?

If a couple is submitting a spousal sponsorship application after more than a year of their marriage, what does CIC consider it as? Genuine or not?

It really depends. Usually CIC would expect the couple to apply as soon as possible after getting married if they do not live together. The expectation is that they will want to live together without delay if the relationship is genuine. But there are many reasons why a genuine couple might not apply right away. You would just have to explain your reasons in the application.
