What checks are done after medical is passed in student permit.

Dear All,

I have applied for the student permit and I am a Non-SDS applicant. Applied on 29th March 2021. I got the medical request on 19th May and I performed it on 12th June. Medical got passed on 19th June. Since then there is no updates on my profile. I have seen people get their BVL and PPR after not more than 4 days.

My question is what checks do VO perform after medical is passed? I assume they have passed my eligibility as they have requested medicals. As per the trends medical request is a positive sign in Non-SDS. So why it is taking so long to update profile?

Every profile is unique, so all you can do is wait.

The processing time begins right after the VO have your complete application, which includes biometrics, medical and police clearance. The waiting time after medical passed depends on your country of resident and the backlog of the embassy that your application is processing. Maybe it will take more than two months or a week . If you passed medical don't worry your application is almost approved. Plan for your future.
Don't think about it all the time...
Don't check it every day. Do it ones a week.
